About the Role

NIM Technologies is looking for a talented and innovative Generative AI Engineer to join our technology team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience or strong practical knowledge in Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, AI APIs, prompt engineering, and AI-powered application development.

The selected candidate will work on real-world Generative AI projects, develop intelligent AI applications, integrate LLMs into software solutions, and contribute to building innovative AI-driven products and automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement Generative AI solutions using Large Language Models and modern AI technologies.

Build AI-powered applications, chatbots, assistants, automation tools, and intelligent software solutions.

Work with LLM APIs, including OpenAI and other relevant AI platforms, and integrate them into applications.

Design and optimize prompts for different business and application requirements.

Work with Python, REST APIs, databases, and AI/ML frameworks to develop scalable AI solutions.

Explore technologies such as LLMs, NLP, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents.

Develop and integrate AI models and third-party AI services into existing software applications.

Test, evaluate, troubleshoot, and continuously improve AI application performance and output quality.

Collaborate with software developers and project teams to convert business requirements into practical Generative AI solutions.

Stay updated with the latest developments in Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents, and emerging AI technologies.

Required Skills





Strong knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Good programming knowledge in Python.

Understanding of Prompt Engineering and LLM API integration.

Knowledge of REST APIs and database fundamentals.

Understanding of RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and NLP concepts is preferred.

Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Hugging Face, or similar AI frameworks will be an added advantage.

Knowledge of Git/GitHub and software development practices.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

1–5 years of relevant experience in Generative AI, AI/ML, Python development, or AI application development.

Practical experience with AI projects, LLMs, AI APIs, chatbots, automation, or intelligent applications will be preferred.

Candidates should have a solid interest in emerging AI technologies and the ability to learn and implement new tools quickly.
