This person is the chief buyer and planner for vaccine ingredients and IT systems, ensuring the company has reliable supplies, cost control, and compliance while leading a team and working across departments.
This role is basically the head of buying and managing supplies for a vaccine company. The person makes sure the company has all the special biological ingredients (like antigens, adjuvants, preservatives, cell culture media) needed to make vaccines, and also manages the software and IT systems that support procurement and production.
Requirement
- Someone with 22+ years of experience in pharma/vaccine procurement.
- Ideally has both business (MBA/PGDM) and science/engineering (Biotech, Pharma, Chemical) background.
- Must know how to handle GMP rules, supplier audits, and IT procurement.
- Hands-on with SAP systems and familiar with ERP tools.
