About the role

NOTO needs a hands-on GM – Supply Chain & Operations to run its day-to-day operating engine: production through 3P manufacturing partners, an unbroken cold chain, and on-time, in-full delivery to every store and customer.

The GM takes the operating plan leadership sets and delivers it daily — through floor presence, disciplined review, and fast escalation when something slips — while building the simple, data-driven systems NOTO needs as it scales.

We're especially looking for someone who has operated through the early high-growth phase of a consumer startup: someone who has taken a brand from founder-led hustle to real operating discipline, and knows firsthand what that transition actually takes.

Key responsibilities

- Production & 3P Manufacturing

- Own production planning and day-to-day delivery against plan across all contract manufacturing partners — schedules, capacity, raw material availability, and dispatch.
- Manage raw material and packaging procurement to keep production unblocked, and run regular partner reviews against quality and delivery KPIs.

2. Supply Planning & Fulfilment
- Own end-to-end supply planning from demand signal to availability, working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance on forecasts, launches, and promotions.
- Own fill rate and OTIF by platform, including quick-commerce and D2C channels, and resolve fulfilment issues before they hit customers.

3. Inventory Management
- Own inventory planning and replenishment across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods, balancing availability against working capital.
- Hold stockout % and days-of-stock norms by city and store, and drive down ageing and excess inventory.

4. Cold Chain & Quality
- Own an unbroken cold chain from plant to last mile — temperature monitoring, handover discipline, and fast root-cause response to excursions.




- Track and reduce product wastage, expiry, and quality rejections, working with QA/QC to hold product specs and food-safety standards.

5. Warehousing, Logistics & Cost
- Run warehouse and transport operations — inward, storage, picking, dispatch, and delivery — and manage logistics partners against SLAs.
- Own logistics cost per unit, and hold warehouse and transport spend against budget, negotiating vendor terms without compromising service.

6. Team & Operating Discipline
- Lead and develop the Supply Chain & Operations team, and build the SOPs, dashboards, and daily control-tower rhythm that keep the function running on data.
- Keep operational MIS timely and accurate, and hold fast closure times on daily control-tower alerts.

What we're looking for

- Has operated through the early high-growth phase of a consumer or D2C startup — has taken a brand from founder-led hustle to real operating discipline, and knows what that inflection point demands.
- 8+ years in Supply Chain, Operations, or Manufacturing, with FMCG experience required; F&B;/frozen-foods and contract-manufacturing experience across multiple locations strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience managing multiple manufacturing partners, warehouses, and logistics vendors, ideally including quick-commerce channels.
- Comfortable building processes from scratch rather than just running existing ones — data-driven, commercially minded, and strong at vendor negotiation.

- Structured under pressure, quick to escalate, and reliable on follow-through.
- Collaborative with sales, marketing and finance, and clear in communication.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or a related field. An MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations is a plus.
