Company Description Hotel Irada is a new hospitality brand creating design-led hotels and public spaces across India, with its flagship property, Hotel Irada Pune Wine Country, set within a 66-acre working winery surrounded by 4,000 acres of reserve forest, about 75 minutes from Pune International Airport. The estate, originally Vijay Mallya’s countryside manor, has been reimagined as a 59-key design-focused hotel and contemporary cultural landmark.

Role Description The General Manager is a full-time, on-site leadership role based at Hotel Irada Pune Wine Country in Pune City. The role is responsible for overseeing all hotel operations, including rooms, food and beverage, spa and wellness, guest services, and public spaces, ensuring a consistent, high-quality guest experience aligned with the property’s design and cultural vision.

Day-to-day tasks include leading and mentoring department heads, managing staffing and scheduling, monitoring service standards, and maintaining operational efficiency and financial performance.

The General

Manager will drive revenue and profitability through effective budgeting, forecasting, and partnership management with key collaborators,



while ensuring compliance with brand, safety, and regulatory standards. This role also requires active engagement with guests and the local community, nurturing a culture of hospitality, creativity, and collaboration across the hotel.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in hotel or luxury hospitality management, ideally as a General Manager or senior leadership role in boutique or design-focused properties.
- Solid skills in operations management, including oversight of rooms, F&B;, spa/wellness, and guest services, with a focus on service quality and efficiency.
- Demonstrated ability in team leadership, people management, and talent development, fostering an inclusive, performance-oriented work environment.
- Competence in financial management, budgeting, forecasting, and revenue optimization, with a track record of meeting or exceeding commercial targets.
- Experience in brand standards implementation, guest experience design, and coordination with design, wellness, and cultural partners.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis-management capabilities, with attention to safety, security, and compliance.
- Familiarity with hotel technology systems
