We are looking for an experienced GCP Cloud Data SRE with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Infrastructure Automation, Terraform, CI/CD, and Cloud Data Platforms.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for engineering, automating, operating, and supporting cloud-native Data, Storage, and Database platforms across GCP and Azure environments. The role requires strong cloud infrastructure knowledge with exposure to database and data platform technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Platform Engineering

- Engineer, build, and maintain enterprise cloud data, storage, and database platforms across GCP and Azure.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure.
- Develop cloud platform guardrails, reusable templates, and automation frameworks.
- Build self-service cloud capabilities for internal business and technology teams.

Site Reliability Engineering
- Ensure availability, reliability, scalability, and operational excellence of cloud platforms.
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.
- Monitor platform performance and service health.
- Drive reliability improvements through automation and proactive monitoring.

Infrastructure Automation & DevOps
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using:

- Jenkins

- GitHub

- Harness
- Automate deployment, provisioning, patching, and operational activities.
- Improve platform stability through engineering-led automation.

Cloud Data & Database Engineering
- Support cloud database, storage, and data platform services.




- Work closely with data and database teams to operationalize cloud-native solutions.
- Support platform deployments involving cloud databases and data services.
- Contribute to database and storage platform engineering initiatives.

Platform Operations & Governance
- Create operational standards, controls, and cloud engineering best practices.
- Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational support processes.
- Support business and CIO teams on platform-related incidents and service requests.
- Ensure platform compliance, security, and governance requirements are met.

Required Skills

- 8+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

- GCP DevOps

- Terraform

- Experience with

- GitHub

- Harness

- CI/CD Pipelines
- Strong cloud infrastructure engineering experience.
- Experience using IDE platforms for cloud engineering and automation development.
