Must-Have Requirements

- 10+ years of software engineering experience with a robust platform or backend focus
- Proficiency in Go microservice structure, HTTP middleware, repository patterns, PostgreSQL integration, and distributed systems debugging
- PostgreSQL — schema design, migrations, logical replication concepts, and query optimisation
- TypeScript / React / Next.js — able to build and ship portlets and shared packages in a monorepo independently
- REST API design — versioning, pagination, OpenAPI/Swagger, and API-first thinking for any consumer type
- Practical daily use of AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or equivalent) as a core part of how you write, test, and review code
- Experience with containerisation and CI/CD (Podman or Docker,



Compose, pipeline automation)
- Test-driven mindset across unit, integration, end-to-end, and load testing
- Experience with deploying applications to cloud in AWS / GCP or Azure

- CDC / event streaming — logical replication, WAL consumers, projection table design
