Role Description The Freelance Video Editor role is a contract position based in Gurugram with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing a mix of on-site collaboration and work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the Video Editor will edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos for advertising, branding, and digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with creative briefs and brand guidelines. Daily tasks include organizing and managing footage, applying transitions and effects, syncing audio, and refining pacing and storytelling to meet project objectives. The editor will collaborate closely with directors, designers, writers,



and AI specialists to integrate AI-generated assets and optimize content for multiple platforms and formats.

Responsibilities also include basic color correction, visual consistency checks, exporting and delivering final files in required formats, and meeting agreed timelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, with experience turning raw footage into compelling narrative content.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading and basic color correction to ensure consistent and appealing visual tone.
- Capability in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, overlays, simple animations, and visual enhancements.
- Hands-on experience with professional editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro) and motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Understanding of social media and digital content formats, aspect ratios, and platform-specific best practices.
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant video editing and motion graphics work; prior experience with advertising or branded content is an advantage.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted creative tools or willingness to learn and adapt to recent technologies in video production.
