We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake, SQL, ETL/ELT, and Data Warehousing , along with solid knowledge of the U.S. mortgage/lending industry .

The ideal candidate will help design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data solutions supporting mortgage operations, analytics, reporting, and downstream applications.

? Key Responsibilities

- Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for U.S. mortgage and lending data

• Develop and optimize data solutions using Snowflake

- Build complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, tables, and transformations
- Integrate data from loan origination, servicing, financial, customer, property, and third-party sources
- Perform data cleansing, transformation, reconciliation, validation, and quality checks
- Work with mortgage datasets including borrower information, loan applications, underwriting, payments, escrow, property, interest rates, and loan lifecycle data
- Develop reusable data models and curated datasets for analytics and reporting
- Optimize Snowflake workloads for performance, scalability, and cost
- Troubleshoot pipeline failures and production data-quality issues
- Implement data security, access control, and governance practices
- Collaborate with architects, analysts, data scientists, QA teams, and application developers
- Participate in testing, code reviews, deployment, documentation, and production support





? Required Qualifications

✅ 5+ years of Data Engineering experience

✅ Strong hands-on Snowflake experience

✅ Advanced SQL skills including joins, CTEs, window functions, transformations, and performance tuning

✅ Strong ETL/ELT and data integration experience

✅ Knowledge of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, data lakes/lakehouses

✅ 3+ years of U.S. mortgage, lending, banking, financial services, or related data experience

✅ Understanding of the U.S. mortgage lifecycle: origination, underwriting, closing, servicing, payments, and loan status

✅ Experience working with large-volume production datasets and pipelines

✅ Solid data quality, validation, reconciliation, and governance experience

✅ Git/source-control experience
