Homeie is building the consumer company for where you live.

The first product is the smartest way to rent a home in India. You tell Homeie what matters once, and our AI understands your taste, works a fragmented offline market on your behalf, helps you see only the homes actually worth considering, and gets the transaction done, including ₹0 security deposit upfront. What takes weeks today should eventually feel like one really good afternoon.

But renting is only where we enter the relationship. Where you live quietly shapes a huge part of your life: how you commute, where you spend, which neighbourhood you become part of, how much you pay every month, and eventually where you choose to buy a home.

We think there is an entirely new consumer company to build around that relationship.

We’ve raised $750K from a global fund whose backers include Abstract Ventures, Bain Capital and Long Journey. We are still a very small team today. That is about to change quickly.

Compensation: Highly competitive salary + meaningful ESOPs

What will you do:

- Build the team from scratch.
- Over the next year, we’ll hire engineers, generalists, operators, creatives, interns, guides and a bunch of roles that probably don’t exist yet.
- You’ll figure out where exceptional people hide, reach them before they are looking for jobs, get them excited about Homeie, run the process, close them, and make sure the bar stays insanely high as the company grows.




- Some days that means mapping 300 engineers across startups even when we're not hiring actively. Some days it means finding one absurdly good 22-year-old through Twitter.
- And because we’re early, recruiting is only the beginning. The goal is to build a cracked team from ground-up, and once we do that well, anything/everything becomes possible. You'll be the reason for that.
- You’ll help design how people join, how the team works, what we reward, what we refuse to tolerate, how we preserve intensity as we grow, and eventually build the entire People function from scratch.

Who we're looking for:

- I don’t care too much about titles.
- You could be a recruiter at a great startup, come from an agency, have built teams for founders, worked in talent at a VC, or have done something completely different but somehow always end up finding great people.
- What matters more is that you have very high taste in people .
- You should be able to look past a polished LinkedIn profile and figure out who is actually exceptional.
- You should move fast, write well, have strong judgment, care deeply about the quality of the team, and hate letting positive people slip through because the process was slow.
- Most importantly, you should want ownership.
- If you eventually want to build your own company, lead a team of your own, or understand how great companies actually get built from the inside, this is probably one of the better seats you could take.
