Role Overview

We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate forklifts for the movement, loading, unloading and stacking of materials within the plant/warehouse premises.

The role requires strict adherence to safety procedures, material handling practices and operational guidelines while ensuring efficient movement of materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate forklifts for loading, unloading, lifting, shifting and stacking of materials.
- Move raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods and other plant materials as required.
- Ensure proper and safe stacking of materials at designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operational checks of the forklift and report any defects or abnormalities.
- Operate the forklift within prescribed speed and safety limits.
- Ensure protected handling of materials to avoid damage to products, equipment or infrastructure.
- Coordinate with Stores, Production, Dispatch and Warehouse teams for material movement.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping around forklift operating areas.
- Follow all plant safety rules,



PPE requirements and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Report accidents, near misses, equipment issues or unsafe conditions immediately to the concerned supervisor.
- Maintain basic records/logs related to forklift usage and material movement, wherever required.
- Support other material-handling activities as assigned by the supervisor.

Mandatory Requirements
- Valid Forklift Operator Certificate / License is mandatory.
- Candidates without valid forklift operating certification/licence will not be considered.
- Prior experience operating forklifts in a plant, manufacturing unit, warehouse or FMCG environment preferred.
- Good understanding of forklift safety and material handling procedures.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a plant/warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
- Safety-conscious and disciplined approach to work.
