Role & responsibilities

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statements
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP / Ind AS and internal accounting policies
- Coordinate with external auditors during audits and statutory filings
- Monitor revenue recognition, deferred revenue, prepaid expenses, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Prepare budgets, rolling forecasts, and financial models
- Perform variance analysis between actuals, budget, and forecast
- Analyze operating expenses, cloud costs, headcount costs, and key business metrics
- Support revenue, gross margin, and cash flow reporting
- Build management dashboards, MIS reports, and business performance analyses
- Support leadership with financial insights and scenario analysis for decisionmaking
- Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and reporting efficiencies
- Partner with AP, AR, payroll, procurement, and cross-functional teams
- Work with ERP systems and improve reporting processes using Excel, Power BI,or similar tools
