Finance Head – Zechai

Location: Calicut, Kerala

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month

About Zechai

Zechai is a growing food & beverage brand with multiple outlets and an expanding franchise network. We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Finance Head to manage financial operations, reporting, controls, and day-to-day accounting activities across the business.

Job Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day finance and accounting operations of Zechai.
- Monitor daily sales, expenses, cash flow, collections, and payments.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Monitor outlet-wise sales, expenses, profitability, and financial performance.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
- Reconcile bank accounts, cash transactions, and outlet collections.
- Monitor purchase invoices, supplier payments, and outstanding balances.
- Verify expenses and ensure proper supporting documents are maintained.
- Coordinate with the purchase, operations, HR, and management teams on financial matters.
- Prepare outlet-wise and consolidated P&L; statements and management reports.
- Monitor budgets, operational expenses, and cost controls.
- Identify financial discrepancies, leakages, and unusual transactions and report them to management.
- Ensure timely payment of salaries, suppliers, utilities, rents, and other business expenses.
- Maintain proper documentation for audits and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax consultants, and other financial professionals when required.




- Establish and maintain proper financial controls and approval procedures.
- Support management in financial planning, forecasting, and business decision-making.
- Maintain confidentiality of company financial information.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience in F&B;, QSR, retail, hospitality, or multi-outlet businesses will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Positive knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with accounting software such as Tally or similar platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial activities.
