About the Role

Mahatta Group is looking for a young, energetic and proactive Finance & Automation Executive with strong accounting fundamentals and an interest in AI, automation, Excel, data analytics and modern finance systems.

This is not a traditional accounting-only role. You will work on finance and accounting activities while also helping improve processes through technology and automation.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle day-to-day accounting activities and support month-end closing.
- Manage vendor invoices, payments and vendor reconciliations.
- Monitor customer outstanding, receivables and collection follow-ups.
- Support bank, customer, vendor, ledger and GST reconciliations.
- Assist with revenue, cost and profitability analysis.
- Support inventory reconciliation and production costing.
- Prepare MIS and management reports.
- Support Budget vs Actual and financial analysis.
- Assist with basic GST/TDS compliance activities.
- Identify process gaps and suggest improvements.
- Use AI and automation tools to reduce repetitive finance work.
- Support finance automation projects and automated workflows.

Requirements
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter or equivalent finance qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience.




- Strong accounting fundamentals.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST/TDS.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong willingness to learn and take ownership.
- Interest in AI and finance automation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Power BI/Power Query and Zoho Books knowledge will be an advantage.

AI & Automation Practical knowledge or genuine interest in tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools is preferred.

Programming knowledge is not required. However, candidates should be interested in learning how AI and automation can improve accounting, reconciliation, reporting and other finance processes.
