About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Finance Manager to lead our accounting, taxation and compliance functions. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, monthly closures, statutory compliances, audits and managing a team across AP, AR, banking and compliance.

The ideal candidate should have solid knowledge of Indian taxation and accounting, along with proven team-management and process-improvement skills.

Key Responsibilities -

- Lead day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate and timely monthly closing.
- Manage general ledger, bank, vendor, customer, inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Review journal entries, provisions, accruals, prepaid and fixed asset entries.
- Ensure timely compliance with GST, TDS/TCS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, ROC and applicable labour laws.
- Manage end-to-end GST reconciliations, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-2B and books.
- Oversee TDS computation, payments, returns and reconciliation with 26AS/AIS/TRACES.
- Support advance tax, income tax returns, tax audits and other applicable tax compliances.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal and tax auditors and ensure timely submission of required documents.
- Handle tax notices and coordinate with relevant authorities, wherever required.
- Lead, mentor and manage the finance team across AP, AR, Banking and Compliance.




- Ensure adherence to month-end closing timelines and statutory deadlines.
- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs and finance processes.
- Drive automation and process improvements across accounting, reconciliation and reporting workflows.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on finance-related requirements.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and other finance projects.

Requirements -
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 5–6 years of relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, taxation and compliance.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a team-handling role.
- Strong knowledge of GST, Income Tax, TDS and accounting principles/Indian Accounting Standards.
- Working knowledge of PF, ESI, ROC and labour law compliances.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IF and other advanced formulas.
- Experience with accounting software such as Zoho Books, Tally, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, ownership and ability to work independently.
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Good To have -
- Experience handling GST/Income Tax assessments, notices and appeals.
- Exposure to ERP, automation tools, Excel Macros, Google Sheets/Apps Script or MIS dashboards.
- Experience in a service, media or fast-growing business environment.
