Job Summary The Field Service Technician will be responsible for installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, and technical support for Axtroid products at customer sites. The role requires strong hands-on technical skills, problem-solving ability, willingness to travel, and professional customer communication.

Key Responsibilities

· Visit customer locations for installation and commissioning of Axtroid equipment.

· Set up and configure 3D printers, 3D scanners, VR equipment, workstations, and other technical products.

· Perform testing and ensure equipment is functioning as per specifications.

· Complete installation and commissioning checklists and documentation.

· Diagnose hardware, mechanical, electrical, software, and connectivity-related issues.

· Attend customer complaints and service requests within defined timelines.

· Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

· Carry out on-site repairs, replacements, calibration, adjustments, and preventive maintenance.

· Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance visits and inspect equipment for potential failures.

· Provide basic product training to customers and operators.

· Support customers in resolving basic technical issues remotely where possible.

· Maintain accurate service reports, equipment records, photographs, and service history.

· Maintain records of spare parts used and coordinate replacement requirements.





· Maintain service tools and equipment properly.

· Travel to customer locations across Goa and other parts of India as required.

· Escalate complex technical issues to the relevant internal technical team when required.

Service Documentation

· Prepare a service report for every customer visit.

· Record equipment details, serial numbers, issues identified, parts replaced, and work completed.

· Maintain customer equipment service history and related records.

· Submit service reports, checklists, photographs, and other required documentation on time.

· Report recurring technical issues and customer feedback to the internal team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Instrumentation, Robotics, or a related technical field.

· 1–3 years of experience in field service, equipment maintenance, technical support, or a similar role is preferred.

· Freshers with strong practical and technical knowledge may also be considered.

· Good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.

· Ability to read basic technical drawings, manuals, and wiring diagrams.

· Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

· Basic knowledge of computers, operating systems, networking, and software installation.

· Good communication and customer-handling skills.





· Comfortable working independently at customer sites.

· Willingness to travel extensively as required.

· All service activities follow Axtroid's procedures and safety standards.

Working Conditions

This is a field-based technical role involving frequent travel to customer locations, working with machinery and electrical/electronic equipment, installation and troubleshooting at customer sites, and occasional travel outside Bangalore with overnight stays depending on project requirements.
