Job Title: FAS Service Engineer

Job Location:

Field-based, with possible travel to customer sites or within a designated region.

Job Summary:

As an FAS Service Engineer, you will provide field-based support to customers for the installation, maintenance, and repair of specialized equipment and systems. You will be the primary point of contact for technical troubleshooting and will work closely with the technical support, engineering, and customer service teams to deliver excellent service. Your role will ensure that systems are properly configured and operating as intended, maintaining customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation & Setup:
- Install, configure, and commission complex systems or equipment at customer sites.
- Conduct site surveys and assessments to determine optimal setup.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations during installations.
- Maintenance & Repairs:
- Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Diagnose faults and repair systems as needed, either remotely or in office.
- Perform software updates, system upgrades, and hardware modifications as required.
- Customer Support:
- Provide on-site and remote technical support for customers.
- Answer customer queries, resolve complaints, and provide training on system usage.
- Deliver product demonstrations and explain functionality to customers.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and the internal technical team to address any concerns.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including service reports, maintenance logs, and parts usage.
- Provide regular feedback on system performance and customer satisfaction to management.
- Update system documentation and ensure technical manuals are up-to-date.
- Continuous Learning & Improvement:




- Stay updated with the latest product developments, technologies, and industry trends.
- Attend training sessions and certifications as required.
- Offer feedback on product improvements to the product development team.
- Health, Safety, and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations while working on-site.
- Implement and maintain company policies regarding service standards, quality assurance, and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical, Electronics systems relevant to the industry
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues independently.
- Customer Service: Strong interpersonal and communication skills for dealing with clients and providing clear instructions.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed procedures and accurately report on work performed.
- Adaptability: Ability to work in diverse environments, adapt to changing priorities, and travel frequently.
- Education: A degree or diploma in a relevant field such as electrical engineering, Electronics engineering. Relevant certifications are a plus (e.g., certifications in specific technologies or systems).
- Experience: Prior experience in field service, customer support, or technical troubleshooting is preferred.

Work Environment:

- Field-based role requiring travel to customer sites.
- Work may involve lifting, climbing, and exposure to various environmental conditions.

Standard work hours, though occasional weekend or after-hours work may be required for urgent service needs. Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
