Cost Controller in a cloud kitchen manages, tracks, and optimizes food, beverage, packaging, and operational expenses to protect profit margins across digital-first culinary brands.

To monitor and control the flow of raw materials, recipe costs, waste, and inventory in high-volume, multi-brand cloud kitchen operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Cost & Expense Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly food costs, beverage costs, packaging expenses, and kitchen overheads across all virtual brands or outlets.
- Recipe Costing & Menu Engineering: Calculate the exact cost per dish, determine gross profit margins, and recommend pricing or portion adjustments to leadership.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Oversee stock rotation (FIFO - First In, First Out), conduct regular physical stock counts, and reconcile inventory variances.
- Wastage & Yield Monitoring: Track kitchen spillage, spoilage, over-portioning, and yield losses to identify leakage points.
- Procurement & Vendor Coordination: Work with the purchase and vendor teams to compare supplier prices, evaluate cost competitiveness, and optimize procurement contracts.




- Reporting & Variance Analysis: Prepare periodic cost reports, highlight budget-to-actual variances, and advise management on cost-saving strategies.

Required Qualifications & Skills

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hotel Management, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of F&B; cost control experience in cloud kitchens, Quick Service Restaurants (QSRs), or hospitality.
- Technical Tools:
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets.
- Hands-on experience with cloud POS and F&B;/inventory management systems (e.g., Petpooja, POSist, Marketman, DigiPos, or ERP tools like SAP/Tally).
- Core Competencies: Solid analytical/numerical skills, attention to detail, and comfort managing high-volume transactional data.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
