Facilities Manager (WFO Hyderabad)

Department: Administration / Facilities

Reports to: Head of Operations / General Manager

Salary Range: ₹5 LPA to ₹6 LPA (based on experience)

Experience Required: 2+ years

Languages: Fluent in Hindi, Telugu and English

Flexibility: Must be versatile to work outside regular hours as required, including early starts, late evenings, weekends or holidays, for breakdowns, emergencies, audits and events.

Key responsibilities

1.Day-to-Day Operations and Infrastructure

- Oversee upkeep of the office, including electrical, plumbing, AC/HVAC, lighting, power backup and furniture.
- Manage housekeeping, pantry, security and reception services.
- Plan and track preventive maintenance schedules.
- Act as the first point of contact when something breaks down.

2.Vendor and Contract Management

- Identify, negotiate with and onboard service providers (housekeeping, security, pest control, AMC providers, etc.).
- Manage rental and AMC contracts for equipment such as photocopiers, printers, ACs and UPS, including service levels, deposits and renewals.
- Verify invoices against actual usage (e.g., copy counts) before approving payment.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance reviews.

3.Budget and Cost Control

- Prepare and monitor the annual facilities budget.
- Run buy-vs-rent and cost-benefit analyses for assets and equipment.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising service.

4.Health, Safety and Compliance

- Ensure compliance with fire safety, electrical safety and statutory requirements.
- Conduct fire drills, safety audits and equipment inspections.
- Maintain licences, certificates and records.

5.Asset and Space Management

- Maintain the asset register covering purchases, rentals, transfers and disposals.
- Plan seating, space allocation and office moves.
- Manage inventory of office supplies and stationery.

6.Employee Support





- Handle facility-related requests and complaints within defined timelines.
- Coordinate travel, transport, guest hospitality and office events as needed.

7.Emergency and Business Continuity

- Maintain emergency response and business continuity plans.
- Respond to breakdowns, outages and incidents, including outside normal hours.

8.Reporting

- Share regular reports with management on expenses, vendor performance, incidents and maintenance.

Qualifications and Experience

- Graduate in any discipline (Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering or Business Administration preferred).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in facilities or administration management.
- Prior experience in a corporate office environment as a facilities professional is required.
- Fluent in Hindi, Telugu and English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of fire safety, building services and vendor contract management.
