Transportation Operations Executive

Function: Logistics

Employment Type: Contractual / Off-Roll

Role Type: Individual Contributor

Role Purpose:

Responsible for supporting day-to-day transportation operations, ensuring timely vehicle placement, dispatch, shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and accurate transport documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily vehicle placement and dispatch execution with transporters.
- Track shipments from dispatch to delivery and proactively follow up on delays.
- Coordinate with breweries, depots, warehouses, transporters, and planning teams for smooth execution.
- Manage transportation exceptions such as vehicle non-placement, breakdowns, delays, and delivery issues.
- Track PODs and transportation documentation and ensure timely closure.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly Transportation MIS and KPI reports.
- Monitor transporter performance including placement, transit time, delivery adherence, and service levels.




- Support freight documentation and resolution of billing discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to transportation SOPs, operational controls, and compliance requirements.
- Support process improvement, transportation automation, and digital tracking initiatives.

Qualification & Experience:

- Graduate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, fleet coordination, or supply chain operations preferred.
- Working knowledge of Excel; exposure to SAP/TMS/ERP systems preferred.
