Role Overview

We are looking for experienced Ethernet Protocol Compliance Engineers with solid hands-on expertise in Compliance Test Suite (CTS) execution, coverage analysis, debugging, and closure . The candidate will be responsible for driving Ethernet protocol compliance activities and ensuring complete CTS coverage closure for Ethernet IP/SoC platforms.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute and analyze Ethernet Protocol Compliance / CTS test suites .
- Drive CTS coverage closure by identifying gaps, failures, and untested scenarios.
- Debug Ethernet protocol compliance failures and perform root-cause analysis .
- Work closely with Design, Verification, Validation, and Firmware teams to resolve compliance issues.
- Analyze test logs, waveforms, protocol traces, and failure patterns.
- Develop/debug test cases and ensure proper coverage across Ethernet features.
- Track compliance status, coverage metrics, failures, and closure activities.
- Support regression execution and ensure identified issues are resolved within timelines.
- Participate in protocol-level debugging and interoperability testing .
- Contribute to improving CTS coverage,



test quality, and automation wherever applicable.

Mandatory Skills

- 5+ years of overall experience in Ethernet/SoC/Protocol Validation or Verification.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically in Ethernet Protocol Compliance / CTS Coverage Closure.
- Strong understanding of Ethernet protocols and compliance testing methodologies .
- Hands-on experience with CTS execution, failure analysis, debugging, and coverage closure .
- Good understanding of Ethernet packet structure, protocol behavior, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in analyzing logs, traces, waveforms, and test results .
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Good to Have
- Experience with 10G/25G/40G/100G/200G/400G Ethernet or higher-speed Ethernet technologies.
- Knowledge of IEEE 802.3 standards .
- Experience with Ethernet MAC/PCS/PHY validation.
- Scripting/programming experience in Python, C/C++ or Shell .
- Exposure to protocol analyzers, traffic generators, and Ethernet validation tools.
- Experience working in ASIC/SoC/IP development environments .

Candidate Profile We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on Ethernet Protocol Compliance and CTS Coverage Closure experience , rather than candidates with only generic Ethernet testing or validation exposure.
