Role Overview: Exponents recently implemented NetSuite ERP together with a custom application, ExpoSync, and is now looking for an experienced ERP Manager to own the platform end-to-end. This is a senior, high-ownership individual contributor role: the person will be the single point of expertise for NetSuite across departments and geographies (India, Mexico and US) running all day-to-day administration, architecture, and system/master-data integration activities independently and without supervision.

Beyond administration, this role is expected to shape how NetSuite is architected: designing workflows, process flows and SOPs, governing master data across systems, and owning integrations that keep NetSuite and connected platforms in sync. The ERP Manager will work largely as an individual coordinator, exercising independent judgment on design and implementation decisions, while staying in close, structured contact with Exponents System Integration (SI) partner for larger builds, escalations and specialized development.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture, Workflow & Master Data

- Own the end-to-end architectural design of NetSuite workflows and business processes translating business requirements into scalable system architecture independently, without requiring supervision.
- Build architecture flow diagrams / workflows and SOPs, and manage and control them within NetSuite on an ongoing basis.
- Define and govern master data management (MDM) standards within NetSuite customers, vendors, items, chart of accounts and entities ensuring a single, consistent source of truth across systems.
- Design, own and manage system integrations between NetSuite and other business/master-data systems (ExpoSync, Power BI, RFID tools,



and future platforms), ensuring data consistency and integrity across the landscape.
- Drive continuous improvement of ERP architecture and workflows in line with business growth and evolving process needs.

Platform Administration & Support

- Serve as the primary in-house owner and administrator of the NetSuite instance, supporting ~150+ users across departments in India and the US.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and access across multiple departments and entities.
- Troubleshoot day-to-day issues raised by Sales, Finance, Operations, and other departments; resolve or triage tickets promptly.
- Build and maintain saved searches, reports, dashboards, custom forms, and workflows (SuiteFlow).
- Write and maintain small-to-medium customizations using SuiteScript 2.0 (scripts, workflows, custom fields/records).
- Monitor data integrity, system performance, and adherence to internal controls.
- Support month-end/quarter-end processes from a systems standpoint, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Own NetSuite release updates — review new features, test in sandbox, and roll out changes with minimal disruption.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and basic training material for end users.

Stakeholder & Partner Coordination

- Operate as the sole in-house architectural and functional authority for NetSuite, exercising independent judgment on design decisions and managing all activities without day-to-day supervision.
- Act as the primary point of contact with the NetSuite System Integration (SI) partner — scoping change requests, reviewing solution design, and validating delivered work for larger projects, escalations, or advanced customizations.

Required Experience & Skills





- 8–10 years of hands-on NetSuite administration and architecture experience (not purely functional/consulting) — genuine, independent ownership of an instance end-to-end.
- Demonstrated ability to independently design NetSuite architecture, workflows and business process flows, translating requirements into scalable solutions with minimal oversight.
- Strong working knowledge of SuiteScript 2.0 and SuiteFlow, with a track record of building and maintaining custom scripts/workflows.
- Experience managing multi-entity / multi-subsidiary NetSuite environments (India, US and Mexico experience strongly preferred).
- Proven experience owning master data management (MDM) practices — data governance, standardization and de-duplication across entities and systems.
- Proven experience architecting and managing system integrations between NetSuite and third-party/master-data platforms (Power BI, RFID, custom applications such as ExpoSync).
- Solid understanding of core modules relevant to Exponents: Sales/CRM, Order Management, Finance/Accounting, Inventory (as applicable).
- Experience with roles, permissions, and security setup across departments.
- NetSuite certification required: SuiteFoundation at minimum; NetSuite Administrator Certification strongly preferred.
- Proven track record operating as a true individual contributor — capable of independently managing the full NetSuite function without supervision, while collaborating effectively with an external System Integration partner.
- Comfortable working independently as the sole/lead in-house owner, with solid communication skills to support non-technical, cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience supporting US-based teams / working across US time zone overlap is a plus.

Nice to Have

- Prior experience in a project-based business.
- Exposure to NetSuite Analytics / SuiteAnalytics Workbook.
- Exposure to enterprise data governance or MDM tools/frameworks.
- Experience defining ERP architecture roadmaps.
- Experience managing a NetSuite implementation partner relationship.
