We are looking for an Assistant Manager EHS to manage and support Environment, Health & Safety activities at our chemical manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities

- Implement and monitor EHS policies, procedures and safety standards.
- Conduct plant safety inspections, risk assessments, audits and compliance checks.
- Ensure compliance with applicable statutory and environmental regulations.
- Monitor secure handling, storage and usage of chemicals.
- Conduct safety training, toolbox talks and emergency response drills.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain EHS records, reports,



permits and statutory documentation.
- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe working practices.
- Support continuous improvement in plant safety and environmental practices.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of chemical plant safety and industrial EHS practices.
- Understanding of hazard identification, risk assessment, PPE and emergency management.
- Basic knowledge of statutory EHS compliance and safety documentation.
- Good communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
- Relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing plant will be preferred.
