Equity Research Analyst - Healthcare/Pharma - Pune - 3+ Years

We are looking for an Equity Research professional with 35 years of experience in the Healthcare/Pharma sector. The ideal candidate will have robust expertise in fundamental research, financial modelling and equity valuation, with exposure to the US market. Buy-side and sell-side Equity Research professionals with strong Healthcare/Pharma experience are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

1. Conducting fundamental equity research on Healthcare and Pharma companies.
2. Building financial models from scratch, including forecasts and sensitivity analysis.
3. Performing equity valuation using DCF, comparable company analysis and other relevant methodologies.
4. Analysing company financials, business models, industry trends and competitive positioning.
5. Tracking earnings, business developments, industry trends and key investment catalysts.
6. Preparing detailed equity research reports, investment insights and presentations.
7. Analysing US-listed companies and developing investment-oriented insights.
8. Conducting peer benchmarking and identifying valuation opportunities and risks.
9. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality research within defined timelines.

Requirements

1. Having 3+ years of relevant experience in Equity Research; candidates with 2+ years of strong relevant experience may also be considered.
2. Having strong Healthcare/Pharma industry exposure through Buy-Side or Sell-Side Equity Research.
3.



Demonstrating hands-on experience in building financial models from scratch.
4. Having strong expertise in equity valuation, including DCF and comparable company analysis.
5. Having exposure to US or international equity markets.
6. Demonstrating strong financial statement analysis, research and analytical skills.
7. Holding a relevant qualification in Finance, Economics, Commerce or a related discipline.
