Minimum Qualification

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME)

Applicant should be Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, with minimum 5 years' experience in Quality Control and inspection of Casting, or Forging or, Fabrication and machining components. Should have process knowledge of Fabrication and Machining. Should have process knowledge of Casting and Forging.

Should have hands-on experience in precision measurement & handling measuring instruments. Should have hands-on experience in Inspection of castings, NDT on Castings. Should have knowledge of ASME Sec 9, WPS and PQR.

Should have knowledge of material Grades of CS, AS and SS. Should be Qualified in ASNT level II certification in NDT techniques - VT, UT, MT, RT and PT.



Should have experience in Preparation of QAP and Inspection protocol/CTQ's.

Should be an internal auditor in ISO 9001, preferable. Should have Valuable Communication skills and comfortable to work in a team. Should have knowledge of steam Turbine and Generators components, preferable.

Should have knowledge of investigative techniques - 7 QC tools, 8D, RCA, etc.
