ELECTRICAL SITE ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for supervising and coordinating electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance activities at project sites. The role ensures that all electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety procedures, and project schedules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities at project sites.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, consultants, and other engineering disciplines.
- Verify electrical installation works against approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Supervise installation of cables, cable trays, conduits, panels, transformers, switchgear, lighting, earthing, and other electrical systems.
- Conduct site inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare and maintain inspection requests, checklists, test reports, and daily/weekly progress reports.
- Identify site technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
- Monitor electrical material usage, workmanship, and installation quality.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures, project standards, and applicable regulations.
- Coordinate testing and commissioning activities with clients, consultants,



and project teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure electrical activities are completed within the planned schedule.
- Support project teams in achieving quality, safety, and timely project completion.

REQUIRED SKILLS
- Strong knowledge of electrical installation and site execution.
- Good understanding of electrical drawings, SLDs, layouts, and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of testing and commissioning procedures.
- Ability to coordinate contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong site supervision and project coordination skills.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards and practices.
- Good communication, reporting, and documentation skills.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

EXPERIENCE

3–10 years of relevant experience in electrical site execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and project coordination.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Candidates with strong site execution experience, technical knowledge, leadership skills, and the ability to manage electrical activities independently are preferred.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
