Role Description

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-scale DevOps platforms and CI/CD ecosystems. The ideal candidate will possess robust expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Harness, Ansible, and REST API-based automation

, along with deep knowledge of cloud-native technologies, infrastructure automation, deployment orchestration, and platform engineering.

The candidate will play a critical role in accelerating software delivery, improving deployment reliability, automating infrastructure operations, and enabling engineering teams through scalable DevOps practices and tools.

Qualifications

CI/CD & Release Engineering

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Harness and modern DevOps toolchains.
- Automate build, testing, deployment, rollback, and release management processes.
- Implement deployment strategies including Blue-Green , Canary , and Rolling Deployments .
- Establish governance, quality gates, and release controls to improve software delivery reliability.




- Drive continuous improvement of deployment processes and release automation.

Infrastructure Automation
- Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation frameworks .
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, server configuration, patch management, and environment setup.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices for consistent and repeatable deployments.
- Standardize infrastructure automation across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Design, deploy, and manage solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
- Support cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Build reusable deployment templates and self-service DevOps capabilities.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to establish DevOps standards and best practices.

API Integration & Automation
- Develop automation workflows using REST APIs .
- Integrate DevOps platforms with SCM tools, cloud services, monitoring systems, ITSM solutions, and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and optimize API integrations for scalability and performance.
- Enable platform interoperability through standardized automation frameworks.

Monitoring, Reliability & Operations
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions for deployment environments.
- Perform root cause analysis and automate remediation wherever possible.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, security, and compliance of DevOps platforms.
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and platform optimization opportunities.

Collaboration & Technical Leadership
- Partner with Development, QA, Security, Cloud, and Operations teams to streamline software delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote DevOps best practices across teams.
- Participate in architecture reviews, technical discussions, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Drive DevOps transformation and adoption across engineering organizations.
