Design Engineer - Siemens NX

Role & responsibilities

- Experience in Siemens NX CAD design and product development.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Siemens NX Modelling, Advanced Surfacing, Drafting, Assembly, and Sheet Metal modules.
- Experience in creating and modifying complex 3D parts, assemblies, and manufacturing drawings.
- Proficient in Surface Modelling including Class-A, Class-B, and Class-C surface development.
- Robust understanding of surface quality checks using Zebra, Curvature, Reflection, and Draft Analysis.
- Experience in Plastic Component Design with features such as ribs, bosses, snap-fits, clips, locators, and draft requirements.
- Experience in Sheet Metal Design including flanges, bends, hems, embosses, cut-outs, louvers, and flat pattern generation.




- Ability to create detailed engineering drawings with GD&T; as per ASME/ISO standards.
- Working knowledge of PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter.
- Ability to interpret customer specifications, design standards, and technical requirements.
- Knowledge of BOM creation, drawing release, and design documentation management.
- Exposure to Industrial Equipment, Consumer Products, or Heavy Engineering domains is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
