Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Design Executive to conceptualize, develop and detail designs for wooden doors and interior solutions as per client requirements, ensuring designs are accurate, cost-effective, feasible for manufacturing and delivered within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand client requirements received through sketches, PDFs, DXF, 3D files, images or rough drawings.
- Prepare concept designs, detailed drawings and shop drawings for wooden doors, frames, wardrobes, kitchens and interior furniture.
- Prepare BOM, BOQ, cut lists and production drawings based on design specifications and site conditions.
- Develop innovative design solutions as per client requirements and coordinate for approvals.
- Check design feasibility, usability, stability and manufacturability in coordination with Sales, Production, Purchase and Site teams.
- Participate in client discussions, design revisions and approval processes.
- Incorporate design changes and site measurements accurately.
- Provide design clarifications and modifications to site teams during execution.
- Coordinate with vendors regarding hardware, accessories and material compatibility.




- Ensure accuracy of drawings to minimize rework and material wastage.
- Suggest design innovations and value-engineering solutions.
- Maintain proper design records, revisions, approvals and documentation.
- Coordinate with and support the design team to achieve quality and timely delivery.

Candidate Profile

- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Product Design or related field preferred.
- 2–6 years of relevant experience in interior design, furniture, wooden doors or architectural products.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and 2D/3D design software.
- Good understanding of materials, hardware, manufacturing and production feasibility.
- Ability to interpret sketches, drawings and client requirements.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Experience in wooden doors, furniture, wardrobes, kitchens or interior solutions will be preferred.
