Key Responsibilities

- Prepare detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings for light fixtures based on inputs from the CTO, Engineering Managers, the Design Manager, the Product & Costing Manager or the production manager.
- Ensure all drawings meet design specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Check designs for ease of fabrication, assembly and cost-effective production, and flag issues to the Engineering team.
- Update and revise drawings based on engineering changes, customer feedback and manufacturing requirements.
- Assist in prototype fabrication and testing.
- Maintain drawing records, technical specifications and revision history, so production always works from the latest version.

Skills & Requirements

- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
- Understanding of fabrication, machining, and assembly processes.
- Ability to follow engineering instructions and modify designs accordingly.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 1.5 – 3 years’ Experience in drafting or mechanical design within the lighting or manufacturing industry.
