Role Description The Delivery Boy role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ranchi. This role involves picking up orders from partner vendors, verifying items against order details, and ensuring accurate, timely delivery to customers’ addresses. The Delivery professional will interact with customers at the doorstep, provide courteous service, handle cash or digital payments as required, and collect delivery confirmations.

Daily tasks include planning efficient routes, maintaining delivery records, following safety and hygiene standards, and coordinating with the operations team to resolve issues such as delays, address changes,



or order discrepancies. The role also requires basic care of delivery equipment or vehicle and adherence to company policies and local traffic regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust Customer Service skills, including polite communication, problem-solving, and a respectful approach to all customers.
- Candidates should possess basic Logistics Management and Transportation skills to plan routes, manage time effectively, and handle local travel safely.
- Candidates should possess Training and compliance awareness, with the ability to follow standard operating procedures and learn app-based delivery processes.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with Food & Beverage handling norms when delivering perishable or prepared items, maintaining cleanliness and care.
- Additional beneficial qualifications include: basic smartphone literacy, ability to use navigation and delivery apps, reliability and punctuality, physical ability to lift and carry packages, and knowledge of local areas in and around Ranchi.
- Minimum educational background of secondary school level is preferred; prior experience in courier, delivery, or retail roles is an advantage.
- Valid local driving license (if operating a two-wheeler or vehicle) and adherence to all road safety rules are required where applicable.
