ROLE OVERVIEW TerraNext Global Ventures is looking for a Data Analyst Trainer who can combine strong technical knowledge with excellent teaching and mentoring abilities.

The ideal candidate should have practical experience in Data Analytics and the ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, structured, and engaging manner.

The candidate will be responsible for training students, graduates, and professionals in Data Analytics through classroom sessions, practical labs, real-world projects, assessments, mentoring, and career-oriented activities.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about Data Analytics, teaching, mentoring, and developing future-ready professionals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES1. Training & Delivery

- Conduct engaging classroom and practical Data Analytics training sessions.
- Deliver training to learners with different levels of technical knowledge.
- Explain complex analytical concepts using simple and practical examples.
- Conduct hands-on laboratory sessions and live demonstrations.
- Use real-world datasets and business scenarios during training.
- Conduct doubt-clearing and mentoring sessions.
- Maintain an interactive and learner-focused classroom environment.

- Design and structure Data Analytics learning paths.

5. Assessment & Learner Performance
- Conduct quizzes, assignments, practical assessments, and examinations.
- Evaluate learner performance objectively.
- Track individual learner progress.
- Identify knowledge gaps and provide additional support.
- Maintain appropriate training and assessment records.
- Support learners with exam preparation.

6. Career & Industry Readiness
- Prepare learners for Data Analyst interviews and assessments.
- Conduct mock interviews and technical discussions.
- Help learners understand real-world Data Analyst roles.
- Guide learners in creating practical portfolios and project presentations.
- Introduce learners to industry expectations and professional practices.
- Support job-readiness and placement-oriented activities.

7. Program Improvement
- Collect and analyse learner feedback.
- Identify areas for improvement in training delivery and curriculum.
- Collaborate with program managers and other trainers.
- Suggest improvements to learning methodologies and course content.
- Contribute to improving learner outcomes and overall program quality.

- Ability to explain difficult technical concepts in simple Tamil
- Ability to interact naturally with Tamil-speaking learners

The ideal trainer should be comfortable switching between Tamil and English during training whenever required.

TRAINING & TEACHING SKILLS The candidate should be able to:

- Explain technical concepts from basic to advanced levels.
- Teach learners who have little or no prior analytics experience.
- Break complex problems into simple steps.
- Use examples, demonstrations, and practical exercises effectively.
- Handle learner questions confidently.
- Identify where a learner is struggling and adapt the explanation.
- Encourage learners to think analytically rather than simply memorizing concepts.
- Maintain learner engagement throughout the session.

Strong technical knowledge without the ability to teach clearly will not be sufficient for this role.
