Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced D365 FSCM Functional Finance Consultant with strong expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;) and end-to-end finance processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering business requirements, analyzing financial workflows, preparing functional documentation, validating process mappings, and collaborating with customers and senior management to deliver effective ERP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Engage with customers to understand business requirements, financial processes, and operational challenges.
- Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), and business process documentation.
- Validate process mappings and assess customization requirements within D365 F&O.;
- Prepare functional specifications, functional analysis documents, and functional test scenarios.
- Develop and execute functional test cases to validate business processes and system functionality.
- Support end-to-end finance processes, including budgeting, accounting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Provide functional expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash and Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of Project Management and Project Accounting.




- Identify financial process challenges and recommend suitable solutions using D365 F&O; capabilities.
- Participate in project scoping, business analysis, effort estimation, and functional design reviews.
- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Interact with customer stakeholders, including senior and executive management.
- Support customer training and knowledge transfer as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O;).
- Mandatory hands-on experience with D365 F&O; / D365 Finance.
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end finance and accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with GL, AP, AR, Cash and Bank Management, and Fixed Assets.
- Understanding of budgeting, financial accounting, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end closing.
- Knowledge of Project Management and Project Accounting.
- Experience preparing BRDs, FRDs, functional specifications, business process documents, and test cases.
- Strong business analysis, functional documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in project scoping, analysis, and estimation.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certification is mandatory.

Educational Qualification CA (Chartered Accountant) / ICWA (Cost Accountant).
