About Agri Inverse

Agri Inverse Private Limited is a Coimbatore-based precision agriculture startup, incubated at Aalamaram and IITM. We build Crop Intelligence Devices, fertigation automation, and LoRa-based sensor networks for polyhouse, organic and open-field farmers growing high-value crops. Instead of only measuring the surrounding environment, our devices read the plant itself, which gives farmers an early warning of crop stress, typically 3–7 days before it is visible in the field.

The role

You are the first human voice a farmer hears from us. Leads from our Meta ad campaigns reach you; you call them quickly, learn about their farm and their problems, and explain in plain language how our product can help. When there is a real fit, you book a farm demo. Our sales team visits, demonstrates and closes the sale. Your job ends at a confirmed, well-qualified demo, with notes the sales team can use.

What you will do

- Call new leads from Meta ads promptly, ideally the same day, and follow up on missed calls through a set number of attempts.
- Ask about the farm: crop, acreage, polyhouse / open field / organic, irrigation and fertigation setup, and who makes the buying decision.
- Find the real pain point: crop stress, disease or pest losses, nutrient and water management, labour dependence, or falling yield.
- Explain in simple Tamil (or the farmer's own language) how our Crop Intelligence Devices and fertigation automation address that specific problem, without overpromising.
- Qualify each lead on crop, farm size, location, interest level and readiness to buy.
- Book the farm demo in the sales team's schedule with the exact farm location, a contact number and a confirmed time; send a WhatsApp confirmation and a reminder call before the visit.
- Log every call in the CRM (Zoho Bigin) with pain points, outcome and next step.




- Pass on to the marketing team what you hear: which ads bring serious farmers, common objections and questions.
- Route post-sale queries from existing customers to the right person in the team.

Who we are looking for

Must have

- Fluent in spoken Tamil and working English.
- Experience in a voice role such as tele-calling, inside sales, lead qualification or customer support. Freshers with excellent communication and a farming background will be considered.
- A patient listener who can ask positive questions and does not rush the farmer to a yes.
- Comfort with high call volumes, and discipline to record every call properly.
- Basic comfort with a phone-based CRM, WhatsApp, and a laptop.
- Genuine interest in agriculture and respect for farmers.

Nice to have

- Experience selling to farmers in agri-inputs, farm equipment, irrigation or IoT.
- Understanding of polyhouse farming, drip irrigation, or fertigation.
- Experience with Zoho Bigin or a similar CRM.

How we measure success
- Speed to first call on every new lead.
- Share of leads reached and properly qualified.
- Farm demos booked, and the share of booked demos that actually happen.
- Quality of demos handed over: the sales team should find the farm, crop and pain point as described.
- Clean, same-day CRM notes.

- Working days and hours: 10 a.m - 6:30 p.m (Monday - Saturday)
