Geek Pictures India operates across three verticals: Geek Studio, IP & Distribution, and Geek ART. The company works across India and Japan, combining storytelling, entertainment, creative production, IP development and distribution.

About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Director to spearhead the overall creative vision and visual identity across all operations of Geek Pictures India.

The role is for a highly creative, visually driven, and commercially minded leader who can develop exceptional ideas, elevate the company’s creative output across studio production, original/acquired IP, and distribution campaigns, build compelling pitches, help win business, and guide creative execution from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the creative vision for Geek Studio across brand films, advertising, digital content, social, animation, CG/VFX, immersive experiences, design and other creative formats.
- Develop big ideas, concepts, treatments and pitch presentations that help the company win new business.
- Work closely with the Studio Head and Senior Producers to translate client briefs into strong creative solutions.
- Present and sell ideas to brands, agencies, film studios, entertainment companies and other clients.

5)Build and leverage relationships across the brand, advertising, production and entertainment ecosystem. Existing client relationships are a strong advantage.





- Develop creative campaigns and marketing ideas for films and content distributed across India and Japan.
- Oversee the creative direction of Geek Pictures India's social media and external brand communication.

8)Build and maintain a network of directors, designers, artists, production houses, CG/VFX studios and other creative partners.

- Collaborate with the Japan team to explore opportunities at the intersection of Indian and Japanese creativity, entertainment and culture.

What We're Looking For

- 8–10 years of experience in advertising, creative agencies, production, entertainment, media or related creative industries.
- Exceptional creative thinking, visual/design sense and storytelling ability.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating distinctive creative work.
- Strong experience in pitching and presenting ideas to clients, brands, agencies, film studios and entertainment companies.
- Strong understanding of brands, popular culture and contemporary visual language.
- Existing relationships with brands, agencies, film studios, production houses or relevant clients will be a strong advantage.

-Experience or interest in film, animation, IP, entertainment and emerging creative technologies.

Commercially minded, entrepreneurial, cooperative and hands-on.
