Shipra Karnani is a contemporary Western occasion-wear fashion brand for women, known for modern silhouettes, statement designs and handcrafted detailing, with a focus on design, quality and personalised client experience.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a smart, presentable, organised and fashion-oriented candidate with 1–2 years of relevant working experience in a fashion brand, designer boutique, apparel or fashion retail store. The candidate should be comfortable with counter sales, merchandising, client handling and computer-based day-to-day operations.

Candidates residing in or around Bhawanipore, Sarat Bose Road and nearby areas will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle counter sales, walk-in clients and customer enquiries.
- Assist clients with product selection, styling, sizing and design customisation.
- Handle billing, invoicing, payments and sales documentation.
- Manage client enquiries and follow-ups through WhatsApp, phone, Instagram and email.
- Maintain customer, order and sales records.
- Manage visual merchandising, garment presentation and store displays.
- Manage overall inventory, stock records, physical stock counts, inward/outward movement and reconciliation.
- Coordinate orders, alterations,



quality checks and timely deliveries.
- Coordinate with the production unit for orders, stock replenishment and production follow-ups.
- Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, accessories and raw materials when required.
- Coordinate with buyers, multi-designer stores, exhibitions, pop-ups and other retail partners.
- Maintain proper inventory, sales, return and dispatch records for third-party partners.
- Assist with website/e-commerce orders, product uploads, catalogues and product shoots.

Skills Required

- 1–2 years of similar work experience with a fashion brand, designer boutique, apparel or fashion retail store.
- Good counter sales, communication and client-handling skills.
- Good understanding of fashion, garments, fabrics, sizing and styling.
- Must be hands-on and comfortable working on computers for day-to-day operations.
- Positive working knowledge of MS Office – particularly Excel and Word.
- Comfortable maintaining and updating Google Sheets, inventory sheets, sales records and reports.
- Basic knowledge of billing, inventory management and documentation.
- Familiarity with Canva, email, WhatsApp, Instagram and basic e-commerce operations will be an advantage.
- Strong organisation, coordination and follow-up skills.
