Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Counsellor | Study Abroad role based in Hyderabad. The counsellor will guide students through the entire study abroad lifecycle, including profile assessment, university shortlisting, and application preparation for destinations such as the UK and Canada.

Responsibilities include providing detailed information on programs, universities, and admission requirements, assisting with documentation, and coordinating with internal teams for application processing. The role also involves offering visa counseling support, informing students about timelines and procedures, and helping them prepare for interviews where applicable. The counsellor will conduct one-on-one and group counseling sessions,



maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow up on leads, and contribute to outreach activities such as seminars or information sessions.

Qualifications

- Robust counseling and advisory skills, with the ability to understand student goals and recommend suitable study abroad options.
- Knowledge of overseas education systems, admission processes, and visa requirements for key destinations such as the UK, Canada, and other major study hubs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex information clearly and build trust with students and families.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases, track application progress, and meet deadlines.
- Comfort with basic digital tools and CRM or student management systems for maintaining records, follow-ups, and reporting.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams (admissions, test prep, operations) and contribute to seminars, events, and promotional activities.
- Prior experience in study abroad counseling, education consulting, or student advisory services is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a background in education, counseling, or related fields is an advantage.
- High level of professionalism, cultural sensitivity, and commitment to non-discriminatory, student-centric guidance.
