Role & responsibilities

- Day-to-day accounting of factory operations including raw material, WIP, and finished goods.

- Handle cost accounting, variance analysis, and reporting of production expenses/ MIS

- Monitor consumption of raw materials and utilities, ensuring accurate booking in SAP.

- Perform monthly closing activities including stock valuation, costing run, and reconciliation of GR/IR.

- Fixed Assets/Capex handling in SAP

- Support internal /statutory /Tax and Cost audits with timely reports and reconciliations.

- Prepare monthly MIS reports on production cost, yield, wastage, and overheads for management.

- Coordinate with production, stores, procurement for smooth costing/accounting

- Support Plant Accounts head in various assignments including Govt Incentives

Preferred candidate profile

- Good knowledge of SAP(FI/CO/MM module)

- Positive understanding of factory cost accounting and inventory management.

- Basic Commercial/GST knowledge

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.

- Proficiency in MS Excel for MIS and data analysis.
