Job Summary

​We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and experienced Site Cook to manage food preparation and daily kitchen operations for a construction crew of approximately 50 members. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing nutritious, hearty, and hygienic meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening Snacks/Dinner) on schedule to keep the site team energized and healthy.

​Key Responsibilities​1. Meal Preparation & Cooking

- ​Cook and serve daily wholesome meals (Breakfast, Lunch, and Evening Snacks/Dinner) for approximately 50 construction personnel.
- ​Prepare a balanced weekly menu that accommodates high-energy daily caloric needs while maintaining variety.
- ​Ensure food is ready precisely on time according to the construction site’s shift schedule.
- ​Handle high-volume, batch-style cooking while ensuring taste and food quality remain high.

​2. Kitchen Management & Hygiene
- ​Maintain strict standards of food hygiene, kitchen cleanliness, and sanitation in accordance with health and safety standards.
- ​Safely handle, clean, and store all kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas.
- ​Ensure proper food storage, handling,



and waste disposal to prevent contamination or pest issues on site.

​3. Inventory & Grocery Management
- ​Track daily pantry stock and inform the Site Supervisor in advance of weekly grocery and ingredient requirements.
- ​Inspect incoming food supply/deliveries for freshness and quality.
- ​Practice cost-conscious cooking to minimize food waste while serving full portions.

​Qualifications & Skills
- ​Experience: 2–4+ years of qualified cooking experience, preferably in high-volume settings (e.g., construction camps, industrial canteens, hostels, or mess facilities).
- ​Speed & Punctuality: Ability to prep and cook efficiently under tight time limits so site work is not delayed.
- ​Menu Knowledge: Mastery over regional staple meals, high-protein options, and large-batch comfort food.
- ​Physical Stamina: Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting kitchen supplies up to 15–20 kg.
- ​Basic Literacy & Communication: Basic reading/speaking skills to handle grocery lists and coordinate with site supervisors.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
