(JD) – C&I; Engineer (Controls & Instrumentation

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Controls & Instrumentation (C&I;) Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in the design, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation and control systems. The candidate should have hands-on experience in PLC, SCADA, DCS systems, field instrumentation, and industrial automation projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, review, and implement instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects.
- Prepare and review instrument datasheets, hook-up drawings, loop diagrams, cable schedules, and I/O lists.
- Selection and specification of field instruments such as transmitters, control valves, flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature sensors, etc.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and process engineering teams for project execution.
- Perform installation supervision, calibration, testing, and commissioning of instrumentation systems.
- Configure and troubleshoot PLC, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
- Conduct loop checking, functional testing, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, commissioning records, and as-built documentation.




- Support maintenance teams in diagnosing and resolving instrumentation and control-related issues.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering, or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in C&I; engineering and commissioning projects.
- Solid knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, HMI, Control Valves, Transmitters, and Industrial Communication Protocols.
- Experience in calibration and troubleshooting of field instruments.
- Familiarity with IEC, ISA, NFPA, and relevant industry standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and engineering documentation preparation.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, ABB, Yokogawa, Honeywell, or Emerson systems.
- Knowledge of Industrial Ethernet, Modbus, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, and OPC protocols.
- Exposure to EPC, Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Water Treatment, or Manufacturing industries.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
