About the Role

We are looking for a creative and strategic Content Writer who understands that effective content starts with understanding the brand.

The role focuses on brand research, Instagram analysis, content performance evaluation, and strategic content planning. The ideal candidate should be able to understand a brand’s values, target audience, positioning, and competitors, then develop content strategies that strengthen brand identity and improve audience engagement.

This role goes beyond writing captions. It involves thinking strategically about what a brand should communicate, how it should communicate, and what type of content will resonate with its audience.

Key Responsibilities

- Brand Study & Research: Understand each brand’s identity, values, USPs, target audience, positioning, and business objectives.
- Instagram Analysis: Audit Instagram profiles, analyse existing content, identify strengths and weaknesses, and discover opportunities for improvement.
- Content Analysis: Evaluate content performance, engagement patterns, audience response, and content gaps.
- Content Strategy: Develop content strategies and monthly content calendars aligned with brand value, audience interests, and marketing objectives.
- Content Pillars & Themes: Define content buckets, creative directions, communication styles, and recurring content themes.
- Competitor Research: Analyse competitor social media profiles, content approaches, trends, and positioning to identify opportunities for differentiation.
- Content Creation: Write engaging captions, reel scripts, hooks, headlines, ad copies, carousel content, and website content.
- Brand Communication:



Maintain a consistent brand voice, messaging, and storytelling approach across social media platforms.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, and digital marketing teams to execute content strategies.
- Performance Optimisation: Review content results and refine strategies based on engagement, reach, audience behaviour, and campaign objectives.

Experience & Skills Required

- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, social media content, content marketing, or brand communication.
- Strong written communication and language proficiency.
- Positive understanding of Instagram, social media trends, reels, carousels, and audience engagement.
- Ability to research brands, study competitors, and identify content opportunities.
- Understanding of content pillars, content calendars, brand positioning, and SWOT analysis.
- Creative thinking combined with analytical and strategic skills.
- Ability to convert brand insights into meaningful content ideas and execution plans.

Portfolio showcasing brand studies, Instagram audits, content calendars, content strategies, and writing samples will be an advantage.
