Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Construction Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for construction projects. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, negotiating with suppliers, issuing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of materials while maintaining quality and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and source construction materials, equipment, tools, and consumables as per project requirements.
- Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers and prepare comparative statements.
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, accounts, and site teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order status, dispatch, delivery, and pending materials.
- Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.
- Evaluate vendors based on price, quality, delivery performance, and reliability.
- Verify material specifications, quantities, and quality requirements before placing orders.
- Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor details.
- Monitor market prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.




- Resolve issues related to material shortages, delays, quality discrepancies, and invoice mismatches.
- Coordinate with accounts for invoice verification and payment processing.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project requirements.
- Maintain updated vendor and material databases.

Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in construction procurement/purchase.
- Experience purchasing materials such as cement, steel, aggregates, blocks, tiles, plumbing materials, electrical materials, sanitaryware, hardware, paints, and other construction-related items will be preferred.

Pay: Up to ₹20,000.00 per month
