We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Community Mobilizer to join our team for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) project. The primary responsibility of this role is to identify, engage, and recruit eligible rural youth (ages 15–35, with relaxed age limits for vulnerable groups) for free skill training and placement programs.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, deep familiarity with rural community dynamics, and a commitment to socio-economic development through skill building and employment generation.

Key Responsibilities

- Community Outreach & Mobilization:
- Conduct door-to-door surveys, village-level meetings, and awareness drives to inform rural youth and their families about DDU-GKY trade offerings, benefits, and placement opportunities.
- Coordinate with local governance bodies (Gram Panchayats, Block Development Offices, SHGs, and local leaders) to build rapport and support for mobilization activities.
- Candidate Identification & Screening:
- Identify candidates from target socio-economic backgrounds (SC/ST, OBC, Minorities, Women, and PwD) in compliance with DDU-GKY guidelines.
- Verify candidate eligibility criteria (age, education, income, and identity documents like Aadhaar, BPL cards, etc.).
- Counsel candidates and their parents/guardians regarding residential/non-residential training expectations, career prospects, and post-placement retention.
- Enrollment & Batch Formation:
- Support candidates through the registration, documentation, and enrollment process for assigned skill trades.

- Ensure batch targets are met according to project timelines.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain precise records of mobilization drives, candidate data, screened leads, and enrolled students.
- Upload and update candidate details on the Kaushal Pragati / DDU-GKY portal and internal management tools.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly field activity reports for project managers.
- Post-Enrollment Support:
- Assist in organizing candidate travel to training centers where applicable.
- Engage with parents to minimize dropout rates during the training phase.

Qualifications & Experience

- Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary (10+2) or Graduate degree in Social Work (BSW/MSW), Sociology, Rural Development, or related fields.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in field mobilization, social work, community development, or skill development projects (preferably DDU-GKY, PMKVY, or NULM).
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in local languages/dialects; basic knowledge of Hindi and English.

Key Competencies & Skills

- Solid verbal communication, public speaking, and persuasive skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with rural households and local authorities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across designated rural districts/blocks.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, Google Sheets, mobile app data entry).
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to handle parental/community hesitation.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
