Position: Commis 1 – Indian Curry

Job Location: Gurgaon

Experience: 1–3 Years in Indian Curry Cuisine

Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook a variety of Indian curry and Indian cuisine dishes as per standard recipes.
- Handle daily mise en place and ensure timely food preparation.
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portioning.
- Have good knowledge of Indian cooking techniques, ingredients, spices, sauces, and curry preparations.
- Ensure proper hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards in the kitchen.
- Assist in monitoring stock, storage, and wastage in the kitchen section.
- Assist in menu preparation and new dish development.
- Support CDP/DCDP and senior kitchen staff in daily kitchen operations.
- Coordinate with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth operations.




- Maintain cleanliness and discipline in the assigned kitchen section.
- Follow all standard recipes, portion sizes, and food preparation guidelines.

Requirements
- Good knowledge of Indian cuisine, especially Indian curry and gravy preparations.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in a hotel, restaurant, resort, or fine-dining setup preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Indian spices, ingredients, sauces, and cooking techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Immediate joiners preferred.
