About the Role

Role Overview The Commercial Head operates at the intersection of operations, finance, and legal. You will be responsible for safeguarding the company's end to end financial and commercial interests on award till completion of the Projects.

Responsibilities

- Budgetary & Cost control – Lead the Budgetary control process and ensure the Contract are completed within the cost and within time and he / she will prepare itemised variations wrt Budgets at month end and will discuss with the Business team on such variations for diagnostic actions & will ensure the corrective steps are taken and monitor them.
- Financial Closer & Cash flow – Lead the Financial closer of the Project and monitor the IRR. Prepare and circulate monthly CF statement. Own CF planning and review and ensure full transparency across all stakeholders.
- Accounts & Audit – Ensure correct Accounting of the projects in SAP and ensure all modules are closed as per the SOP and within the timelines agreed. He / she will manage Accounts Payable fortnightly. He / she will also be responsible for reinforcing the financial checks and meet the requirement of the auditors when required.
- Reconciliation and process improvement – He / she will prepare and own the Accounts Master closing Sheet. He / She will be responsible to enforce a compliant setting in the projects so that the system is auto driven to carry out the various reconciliation on time like material reconciliation,



Debit to the vendors / Contractors on time, Deisel reconciliation, BRs and others. He / She will be pivotal member Identify contractual, financial, and operational risks early and develop proactive contingency plans.
- Stakeholder & Team Leadership – Mentor cross-functional teams (including quantity surveyors, procurement specialists, and estimators) and give his / her commercial / Financial inputs time to time. He will be partnering with the Business partner / Business head, HQ Accounts / Finance team and other teams for meeting the requirements for the projects under him / her. He / She will provide relevant data / information as asked by Management for taking decisions or for management meeting.
- Governance and compliance – He / she will be responsible for the reinforcing the excellent compliance system for the projects for capturing the cost and other information as per the SOPs so that the data entered in the system are free from error and mistakes so that taxes and other obligations are discharge by the tax Team appropriately. Further, he would be a active member for any observations asked from any department / Authority in connection with the project. He / She will also oversee the incentives or drawback as applicable on the projects are properly taken and accounted.

Qualifications : Chartered Accountant Industry : Candidate must be from Energy/Renewable/ Transmission/EPC industry
