We are looking for experienced Collections Executives to join the collections team of a leading fintech company. The role involves handling US-based credit card accounts, contacting customers regarding overdue payments, understanding their financial situation, and working towards timely recovery through effective communication and negotiation.
Candidates with experience in US Collections, International Collections, Credit Card Collections, Debt Recovery, or consumer lending collections will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle US-based credit card collection accounts and overdue balances.
- Make outbound calls to customers regarding outstanding payments.
- Understand customer situations and negotiate suitable payment arrangements.
- Follow up on delinquent accounts and ensure timely recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and payment commitments.
- Handle payment negotiations, settlements and repayment plans where applicable.
- Follow established collection processes, policies and compliance requirements.
- Meet individual and team collection targets.
- Maintain professional communication while handling customers.
- Ensure all collection activities are carried out in accordance with applicable regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of relevant collections experience.
- Experience in US / International Collections is highly preferred.
- Experience handling credit card collections will be an advantage.
- Candidates from consumer finance, personal loans, credit cards,
banking or other lending products can be considered.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to handle targets and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with night/US shifts is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or a related field is preferred.
Work Requirements
- 6 days working.
- Compulsory night shift to support US customers.
- Work from office in Bengaluru.
- Candidates should be comfortable working with US customers and processes.
