Role Overview

- Role Title: Sr.

Cognos

Developer / Principal Analyst.

- Experience Required: 6 to 9+ years (Minimum 7 years with BI tools, 6+ years hands-on IBM Cognos development)

- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).

Key Responsibilities:

- Minimum 7 to 14 years of experience with Business Intelligence tools Cognos

- Comprehensive expertise with Cognos Analytics (Report development, Dashboarding, Automation)

- Solid IBM Cognos development hands on knowledge with over 6 years of experience

- Strong knowledge on Framework Modelling, Reports development , Event Studio and preferably Go office tools . Need to be proficient in SQL writing.

- Experience in Cognos Analytics features like Data Server, Data Modules, Data sets and dashboards.

- Experience in Performance tuning techniques from report/data model level.

- Proficient in handling data model development of a data mart with multiple tables and to provide an adhoc model resolving loop joins





- Experience working in Analytics projects with strong analytical skills and clear understanding of data warehousing concepts.

- Must be organized, detail oriented and able to efficiently function under pressure and be able develop and present analysis and recommendations in a explicit, concise manner.

- Have the ability to effectively manage multi-task operations and projects within deadlines and key decision making. Advantageous to have project management or leadership skills to manage the team and deliverables, including meeting deadlines and experience with establishing and maintaining effective work relationships are essential.

- Strong professional skills, including interpersonal skills, communication skills, planning and organizing
