About the opportunity I'm looking for an entrepreneurial co-founder to build a startup from the ground up.
The idea isn't set in stone yet, and that's intentional. I'm exploring opportunities across B2B SaaS, Quality Management Systems (QMS), client acquisition, fintech and banking, B2B marketing, trading technology, and other promising markets.
I'm not looking for someone who simply wants to execute an existing business plan. I'm looking for someone who wants to help discover the right problem, identify a real market opportunity, validate ideas, and turn them into a sustainable business.
You'll be a partner in shaping the company's direction, not just an employee working toward someone else's vision.
What you'll do
- Discover opportunities: Research industries, identify underserved markets, and uncover problems worth solving.
- Validate business ideas: Talk to potential customers, test assumptions, analyse competitors, and determine whether an opportunity has real commercial potential.
- Build from zero: Help develop the business model, value proposition, go-to-market strategy, and initial product or service.
- Acquire customers: Experiment with B2B sales, partnerships, networking, outreach, and other customer acquisition channels.
- Think like an entrepreneur: Make decisions with limited resources, prioritise what matters, and focus on measurable outcomes.
- Wear multiple hats: Contribute wherever necessary, whether that's product strategy, sales, marketing, operations, fundraising, or business development.
- Build for sustainability: Work toward the first paying customers, repeatable revenue, and a business that can eventually sustain its founders.
Who I'm looking for
- Someone with a robust entrepreneurial mindset who genuinely wants to build a company.
- Someone comfortable with ambiguity, experimentation, and changing direction when the evidence demands it.
- Someone who can take ownership, work independently, and turn ideas into action without constant supervision.
- Someone with excellent business instincts, commercial awareness, and a willingness to learn quickly.
- Someone who is resourceful and comfortable operating with limited funding, a small team, and imperfect information.
- Someone who understands that startups require patience, resilience, accountability, and considerable personal commitment.
- Someone who is willing and financially prepared to navigate an initial period without a regular salary.
- Someone who values building a meaningful business over simply acquiring a title.
Experience in entrepreneurship, B2B sales, business development, product management, marketing, SaaS, fintech, or startup operations would be valuable. However, demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, and entrepreneurial ability matter more than credentials alone.
What this opportunity offers
- A genuine founding role: Help shape the company's vision, strategy, and business model from day one.
- Meaningful ownership:
An opportunity to discuss an equity-based partnership based on contribution, commitment, responsibilities, and long-term alignment.
- Freedom to experiment: Explore multiple opportunities before committing to the strongest one.
- End-to-end ownership: Help take an idea from initial research to a real product, paying customers, and a scalable business.
- A long-term partnership: Build alongside someone who values execution, honest communication, and shared ambition.
Compensation and commitment This is an early-stage, founder-level opportunity. There is currently no guaranteed salary, and the initial period may be unpaid while we validate the business, establish traction, and work toward sustainable revenue or funding.
Equity, founder responsibilities, vesting, and future compensation will need to be discussed transparently and agreed upon before making a long-term commitment.
This opportunity is best suited to someone who understands the realities of early-stage entrepreneurship and can realistically manage their personal finances during the initial phase.
How to apply Send a short introduction covering:
1. Who you are and what you want to build.
2. Any businesses, projects, or initiatives you've started or helped grow.
3. A problem or market opportunity you believe is worth pursuing.
4. Why you want to be a co-founder rather than join an established company.
5. Your availability, expectations, and ability to commit during the early stage.
- The most important qualification is entrepreneurial ability. I'm looking for someone who can think critically, spot opportunities, sell ideas, make things happen, and build a business when there is no established playbook to follow.
