Role Description The Civil Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction, maintenance, and renovation of school infrastructure and facilities. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and reviewing engineering designs and drawings, coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulatory standards, and managing site inspections and quality control. The role will involve monitoring stormwater management, drainage, and structural integrity of buildings and outdoor spaces, while supporting sustainable, safe, and learner-friendly campus development.

The Civil





Engineer will collaborate with school leadership and operations teams to prioritize projects, manage timelines and budgets, and address maintenance issues promptly. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Happy Model School in Delhi, India.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Civil Engineering, with proven experience applying civil engineering principles in building and campus projects.
- Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design, including structural design, site layout, and infrastructure planning.
- Experience in Planning and project coordination, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage systems, and environmental best practices for educational or institutional campuses.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and local municipal requirements in Delhi, India.
- Proficiency with CAD and other civil engineering software tools for design and documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders and to manage multiple projects on-site.
