Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Civil Engineer at MAJOR Construction Company.

The Civil

Engineer will be responsible for developing civil engineering designs, preparing detailed drawings and documentation, and supporting planning activities for infrastructure and land development projects. Daily tasks include analyzing site conditions, designing grading and drainage systems, contributing to stormwater management solutions, and coordinating with internal architectural and structural teams. The role also involves reviewing design standards, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and regulations,



and supporting project managers with technical inputs and progress reporting.

The Civil

Engineer will collaborate via digital platforms, maintain clear documentation, and participate in virtual meetings with global clients and multidisciplinary project teams.

Qualifications

- Civil engineering technical expertise, including Civil Engineering Design and general Civil Engineering knowledge.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team of Civil Engineers, contributing to multidisciplinary project coordination.
- Experience in Planning for infrastructure or land development projects, including site layouts and utility planning.
- Knowledge of Stormwater Management principles, drainage design, and related hydrology/hydraulics concepts.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- Proficiency with relevant civil design and CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar tools).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment.
- Familiarity with international building codes, local regulations, and permitting processes is an advantage.
