Role Description The Chief Information Officer (CIO) is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading Alfa Capital Management’s information technology vision, strategy, and operations. The CIO oversees the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure, scalable IT infrastructure that supports investment platforms, quantitative research, and client-facing systems. Daily responsibilities include directing IT governance, setting technology standards, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring regulatory and cybersecurity compliance across systems and data.

The role collaborates closely with executive leadership and business units to align IT strategy with organizational goals,



optimize technology-enabled processes, and support the development of innovative digital solutions. The CIO also leads and mentors IT teams, manages budgets, and drives continuous improvement in systems reliability, performance, and user experience.

Qualifications

- Solid foundation in Information Technology, with experience overseeing enterprise systems, infrastructure, and applications.

- Proven expertise in IT Operations, including service management, incident response, and systems reliability in a regulated environment.

- Demonstrated leadership in IT Management, including team development, resource planning, and vendor management.

- Strategic capability in IT Strategy and digital transformation, aligning technology initiatives with business objectives.

- Experience optimizing Business Processes through technology, automation, and data-driven decision-making.

- Extensive background in financial services or investment management, with familiarity with trading, risk, and analytics platforms.

- Advanced knowledge of information security, regulatory compliance, and data governance in global markets.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; graduate degree (MBA or MS in IT/Information Security) preferred.

- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, PMP, or ITIL are beneficial.
